Jugal Kishore Sharma Member of Parliament Lok Sabha Jammu Poonch demanded to Construct flyover bridges at two main prime locations Kunjwani Chowk and Satwari Chowk at Jammu in Lok Sabha New Delhi.
Jugal Kishore Sharma Member of Parliament while raising his voice in house at New Delhi said that many big projects in Jammu like AIIMS,IIIT,IIIM & Upgradation of Jammu Airport are in progress.The matter of concern is that the number of vehicles in Jammu City are increasing day by day due to which two main locations directing towards AIIMS and Airport Kunjwani Chowk and Satwari Chowk are observing heavy traffic congestion mostly during day times.He said that many number of vehicles pass through these crossings and people have to wait for several minutes.He said that there is dire need to construct flyover bridges at on both these chowks to get rid of these traffic congestions.
Member of Parliament urged Hon'ble Minister for Road Transport & Highways to direct National Highway Authority of India to construct flyover bridges on both of these prime locations Kunjwani Chowk and Satwari Chowk at the earnest so that people may not have to suffer any more.
